MCZ Core Technology awarded at the BePOSITIVE Awards 2023

At the BePOSITIVE trade fair held in Lyon, MCZ won the BePOSITIVE Award 2023 in the Bois énergie Flam’Expo category with its innovative Core technology.

The aim of the BePOSITIVE Awards is to promote the energy transition, a topic more current than ever at this time of major climate change, by rewarding new products, innovations and technological developments. Winners are selected on the basis of a number of key criteria, including reduction of environmental impact, performance and user benefit, economic benefit, and corporate social responsibility.

 

 

MCZ’s new Core technology stood out from the other candidates because of its outstanding performance in environmental sustainability and, in particular, the quality of its combustion, which is based on the principle of gasification. Core, in fact, allows cleaner and more sustainable combustion than normal stoves with a 40% reduction in particulate emissions compared to the strictest European limits, i.e. those of the 5-star ariaPulita certification, and 55% compared to European Ecodesign limits.

 

But that’s not all: thanks to combustion optimisation, firebox cleaning becomes a quick and easy operation, the glass stays clean much longer while the flame is pleasing to the eye comparable to a wood fire. Protected by no less than three patents, Core was developed entirely at MCZ.
