MCZ Group France opens its doors in Lyon
After many years of presence and experience in France, the MCZ Group has decided to take direct control of this market with the opening of its new Service subsidiary, MCZ Group France.
Headquartered in Lyon, the subsidiary will be inaugurated on 18 September and will boast over 1,700 square metres of space, of which almost 1,000 will be devoted to training rooms and product displays. In particular, it will be responsible for managing Service Centres, after-sales service, training for the entire industry and spare parts management for all MCZ Group brands throughout France.
Its aim is to improve the support service in all areas in terms of response time and quality, while guaranteeing greater support for the market.
The MCZ Group, founded in the late 70s in the Pordenone region of Italy, specialises in the design and marketing of pellet and wood-burning products for the home. It has five production sites in Italy, Croatia and France, a workforce of 650 and seven distinct commercial brands for different distribution networks and market segments (MCZ, Sergio Leoni, Brisach, Red, Cadel, Freepoint and Pegaso). In 2022, it manufactured more than 120,000 products, including stoves, fireplaces and cookers, which were then distributed in more than 40 countries around the world. Exports currently account for more than 80% of the Group’s total sales (€190 million in 2022); France is one of the main markets and, to date, almost 400,000 French households heat their homes with an MCZ Group stove.
After the launch of the new MCZ Core technology, which has changed the paradigms of pellet combustion, and the recent investment in the new Cadel headquarters, which has adopted the most advanced production logic, this operation is another step that confirms the Group’s development trajectory, now among the main European leaders in the world of biomass.
