Open spaces are proving increasingly popular in all sorts of settings, from residential to office environments, owing to their appeal and to the freedom of design they afford. On the down side, an open space doesn’t always manage to offer the necessary heat to guarantee well-being, especially in non-domestic settings. Delimiting spaces using discrete and versatile structures is the ideal way to strike the perfect balance between sharing and privacy.
Several souls coexist in Origami, designed by Alberto Meda and part of the Plug&Play collection by Tubes: indeed, the function of mere radiator is in fact combined with that of an element of interior design, especially in the free-standing version, which makes it possible to separate settings. Origami can be moved easily within an open space, thereby proving to be the perfect solution in specific office and healthcare settings too.
