Expert craftsman’s hands that apply delicate layers of gold leaf to the Mammamia chair, work the leather covering the Pepe seat, or even shape aluminium to create the Tab.u stool.
The history of Opinion Ciatti has always been inextricably linked to the artisan tradition of Tuscany, the company’s homeland, and it is precisely this bond with its roots that is celebrated in The Shape of Values: a multimedia project featuring a series of videos that recount the essence of the Opinion Ciatti brand.
‘Our creativity stems from tuning in with the world in which we live and with our past. But also, from our vision for the future, which can never exclude traditional knowledge and skills: that is how we give shape to our projects. And how we shape our values’, says CEO Lapo Ciatti.
These video-episodes fix the exact moment in which an idea takes shape and is turned into a tangible and finished product: a process made possible by the expert hands of the craftsman, capable of shaping a material and transforming it into an extraordinary and unique design.
The three videos that have been produced so far show the making of some of the company’s best-known products.
