The renewal of the ancient in a modern context: Tubes and Bonaldo were chosen respectively for the radiators and for the furnishings in the refined restoration of one of the most important historic villas of the 15th century located on the Florentine hills, from which you can enjoy an incomparable view of the city.
The majesty of past eras interacts with the new contemporary environments in the choice of materials, in an original and functional combination. Architect Pierluigi Sammarro has selected pieces with an iconic design including some radiators from the Tubes collection, set up in the bathrooms of the house, and Bonaldo sofas, beds and accessories for the large rooms of the villa.
The master bedroom is characterized by the centrality of Bonaldo's Squaring bed, placed in the center of the room to highlight the marvelous meticulously restored frescoes. The warm and neutral colours of the master bedroom also enhance the architecture and decorations of this environment full of precious details. Squaring, designed by Giuseppe Viganò, is an iconic bed by Bonaldo that, with his imposing presence, manages to master in large rooms. Also by Bonaldo are the Bloom and Dream on beds, the Peanut B sofa that furnishes one of the living areas and various accessories, such as poufs, coffee tables and consoles.
The bathrooms of the house are real relaxation rooms, equipped with all comforts and enriched with materials that emphasize their richness: dark marbles, wallpapers with landscape motifs, saunas and spacious showers, which are perfectly combined with design radiators with very high technical performances, such as Rift, Milano Free-Standing, t.b.t. and Ixsteel by Tubes. The sculptural shape of Milano Free-Standing frames the bathtub in the bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom, the modules of Rift and t.b.t., chosen in dark shades, perfectly match with the colour choices of the other bathrooms in the villa.
These furnishing objects relate to each other by taking up the historicity of the environment, a real estate and artistic heritage returned to its ancient grandeur thanks to the restoration work carried out by the architect Pierluigi Sammarro.
