New Life – Preview MDW26: Lala Indoor, lounge armchair

Born from the vision of the architect Marco Zito for New Life, the lounge armchair from the new Lala Indoor collection is part of a project that offers designers a perfect stylistic continuum between outdoor and indoor spaces. In continuity with L’Ala Outdoor, presented in 2025 for outdoor environments, Lala Indoor allows New Life to respond in a specific matter to one of the most current challenges of the hospitality sector, namely furnishing lounges, restaurants and living areas while following a single formal concept.

The lounge armchair stands out for its generous padding and soft volumes, designed to meet the ergonomic and comfort requirements of contract and hospitality environments, conveying an idea of complete and welcoming comfort. Moreover, the armrest is available in two types: a more minimal and rigorous version, and a “corolla” variant that explicitly recalls the shape of a flower, giving the seat an organic grace while translating the principles of Biophilic Design into the world of contemporary furniture.

The connection between the Lala Indoor collection and nature is both an aesthetic and ethical commitment. The collection is designed with a strong focus on its environmental impact: all of the foams used for padding are CertiPUR certified, guaranteeing high standards for health, security and respect for the environment. This sustainable soul is enhanced by the collaboration with Kvadrat, which brings Patricia Urquiola’s signature fabrics to the collection, made from recycled cotton and wool, or from polymers recovered from consumers’ waste plastics and from the oceans. Further enriching the collection is a series of exclusive fabrics from the Gianfranco Frattini Collection, whose patterns confer a cultured decorative sensibility.
