Lithos Design: Dune, Cesello Collection

The Cesello collection of marble coverings, designed by Raffaello Galiotto for Lithos Design, stands out for the interplay of light created by the alternation of soft ripples and more pronounced grooves. Comprising four models – Dune, Khadi, Fibra, and Pagoda – Cesello offers a contemporary interpretation of inspirations drawn from nature, architecture, and the world of textiles. Dune is available in the following marble varieties: Bianco Thassos, Camouflage, Giallo Reale, Gris St Pierre, Pierre Bleue and Verde Imperiale.

 

 

Among the most evocative designs in the collection, Dune translates the movement and power of natural elements into a sculpted surface with a strong tactile presence. Its engravings unfold in varying depths, shifting from bold markings to more delicate lines and back again. The result is a dynamic interplay of light and shadow that shapes the material, evoking the profile of soft, undulating dunes, as if sculpted by the wind across the desert.

 

 

In the Camouflage marble variant, distinguished by an intricate interplay of veining and shades ranging from light hues to deep browns, Dune gains even greater expressive intensity.
