Bonaldo 2026: living spaces designed for sharing

In Bonaldo’s 26 collection, the living area is conceived as a welcoming space for gathering, sharing and everyday life. Sofas, sideboards and coffee tables come together through a shared language of generous proportions, soft geometries and carefully selected materials, creating an environment designed to encourage interaction while expressing a cohesive contemporary identity.

The new sofas place comfort and conviviality at the centre of the living space. Designed by Massimo Castagna, Grant develops through broad, continuous curves, with semicircular modules, chaise longues, peninsulas and poufs that can be combined in different configurations. Its enveloping forms encourage interaction and make the sofa particularly suited to centre-room compositions, where it becomes an element around which the space can be organised.

A welcoming character also defines Aldebaran, designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. Rounded forms and curved elements create an inviting silhouette, while the combination of linear and curvilinear modules allows for different compositions. Large, loosely arranged cushions rest against the backrests, reinforcing the relaxed character of the sofa and its sense of cosiness.

Also by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, Belloalto explores comfort through generous proportions. Its distinctive high backrest provides support for the shoulders and head, while a lumbar cushion and wide, low armrests enhance the feeling of relaxation and balance the overall volumes. The modular system can be configured in both linear and corner compositions, adapting to different ways of experiencing the living area.

The collection also introduces three new sideboards, each with a distinct character. Alicanto, by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, plays with different proportions and the contrast between wood and ceramic, while Alain Gilles’ Blocco Sideboard combines the rigorous geometry of a horizontal volume with softer, sculptural supports. Spy, designed by Marconato and Zappa, balances solid volumes and open compartments, adding visual lightness while extending the traditional function of the sideboard as an element for organising and dividing space.

Completing the living area is a varied selection of new coffee tables, including Aspen, Gem, Sloan and Sasso. Different scales, heights and geometries are combined with materials including glass, ceramic, wood, metal and concrete-effect finishes. Designed to be used individually or in compositions, the coffee tables add further layers of material, shape and functionality to the living space.
