Bonaldo 2025: matter and atmosphere for the bedroom
Night is the realm of retreat and calm, where space becomes a refuge. In 2025, with Contemporary Soul, Bonaldo redefines its idea of living the present, weaving together design, emotion and everyday life in a profound balance. With new designs by Massimo Castagna on one hand, and Gabriele and Oscar Buratti on the other, the bedroom collection expresses two distinct, yet complementary, design visions: one more fluid and scenic, the other more architectural and precise. Both share a close attention to detail, a focus on materials, and the ambition to turn function into language.

The Nubo bed, designed by Massimo Castagna, stands out for its fluid, organic silhouette, inspired by the lightness of a cloud. Its low, continuous headboard and upholstered boiserie – conceived as a natural extension of the bed – traces a soft line that embraces the space, welcoming it and gently expanding its visual boundaries with balance and grace.
Gabriele and Oscar Buratti designed the Oris bed and the Arragan collection for the bedroom. Oris restores a more structured vision of the bedroom: a tall, squared headboard, with side rails that barely touch the floor, like architectural lines drawn across the ground. The leather or emery leather upholstery, enhanced by contrasting stitching, highlights the craftsmanship, while the fabric version, with tone-on-tone stitching, suggests a more domestic, informal character.

The Arragan family, in addition to the sideboards designed for the living area, also includes dressers and bedside tables conceived for the night. Essential volumes, lacquered finishes, a recessed tray top and a handle shaped by the design of the door itself preserve the collection’s identity while adapting it to an intimate, contemplative space.
