Fast: the Naca table selected for the ADI Design Index 2026
The Naca table, produced by Fast and designed by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces, has been selected by the ADI Permanent Design Observatory for the ADI Design Index 2026, which brings together outstanding examples of Italian design each year and provides eligibility for the Compasso d’Oro ADI award. Its inclusion in the Index was officially announced on 1 October at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, during the presentation of the 2026 edition.

The defining feature of the Naca table is its legs, which go beyond their structural role to form the heart of the entire design. Made of aluminium and available in 15 different finishes, they draw inspiration from aeronautics, from which the name Naca derives, and from the principles of biomimicry: their profile evokes the shape of a dragonfly’s wing, distilled into a pared-back, recognisable form.
The tabletop is available in various shapes (rectangular, square and round) and a wide range of materials (painted aluminium, speckled aluminium, porcelain stoneware, teak and lava stone).
