New Life furnishes L’Antica Ricetta in Còrmons
L’Antica Ricetta was born from a concept designed by Roberta Tosolini thanks to the manufacturing excellence of New Life, a company with solid roots in the Friuli region and an open approach to international design languages, which for the occasion was able to reinterpret the very essence of the Tinel (the room used to receive guests in the Friuli region). A vision that has transcended local boundaries, attracting the attention of international critics: the project has been shortlisted for the INT Interior Design Awards 2025, a recognition created to enhance and promote interior design excellence on a global level.
New Life, which specialises in contract furniture, including bespoke pieces, made a decisive contribution to the design of the space through its precise and tailor-made approach. The protagonists are two large benches, one concave and one convex, made specifically for this project: elements that require precise construction know-how to translate the sinuous lines of the architecture into furniture.

New Life’s work is equally evident in the tables, which are custom-made based on catalogue models and crafted from a noble wood, walnut, chosen for its material value but also for its connection with the culinary specialities that distinguish L’Antica Ricetta. The I-Conico model has been reinterpreted in two versions, and the Flo tables, also made with custom-made walnut tops, have been developed in two different sizes. The space is completed by antique chairs salvaged from the building, which bring authentic traces of the place’s history into the present, and velvet-covered poufs from the And Seat System collection, which add a soft, contemporary touch.
