Pacifico by Opinion Ciatti: an increasingly functional library that makes culture an instrument of peace

Pacifico by Opinion Ciatti is a modular wall system that, thanks to its versatility, best meets the needs of our contemporary living: available in two sizes and three functions – bookcase, desk and TV stand – Pacifico characterises the space with its essential and refined beauty.

A piece of furniture that, in every detail, confirms its vocation: that of being a meeting point between cultures and traditions and a bulwark of peace and the future. Pacifico is, in the intentions of its designer Lapo Ciatti, a paradox taking shape – a wall that, instead of dividing, unites thanks to the power of knowledge – and, at the same time, a tribute to someone who contributed to the diffusion of knowledge: Pacificus is in fact the figure who, in the Carolingian age, actively contributed to the development of the Capitolare library in Verona, the oldest library in the Western world still in activity today.

A wall-mounted steel bookcase, Pacifico stands out for its modularity: available in two sizes – 90 cm and 120 cm – it allows you to find the right configuration for any type of space. The design of the bookcase is as essential as it is well thought out in detail: Pacifico consists of two vertical steel uprights fixed to the wall which accommodate, depending on the different versions, shelves and bookends but also a desk shelf or a TV stand system for 50 to 90-inch televisions.

The reduced depth and the slender, minimalist structure make Pacifico a design element that brings order and harmony to every residential and contract environment (offices, meeting rooms and hotels). Thanks to its multifunctionality, it can furnish both small spaces, such as corridors and study corners, and entire walls of living areas and bedrooms.
