A domestic stage set inspired by the Eternal City
A Roman apartment designed for short-term stays reinterprets Greco-Roman classicism through a contemporary lens, combining dramatic marble surfaces, mirrored finishes, and Glamora wallcoverings.
Near the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, an 80-square-metre apartment has been transformed by Loto AD Project into a sophisticated retreat, designed to welcome guests into an immersive and unexpected setting. The project, designed by architect Giorgia Dennerlein, stems from the desire to create a distinctive visual world that weaves together references to Greco-Roman classicism and contemporary design without ever becoming literal or predictable.

Balanced between memory and invention, Glamora wallcoverings play a key role. The Apollo, Trigarium, and Silvanus designs from Arcadia Collection bring Corinthian columns, classical sculptures, and large decorated vases onto the walls, transforming the architectural envelope into a scene inhabited by fragments of antiquity, reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility. The wallcovering does not merely decorate; it enhances the guest experience, drawing visitors into the designer’s vision and giving the space an immediately recognisable identity.

A project that shows how high-end residential design can tell a precise story, transforming an apartment intended for hospitality into a place with a strong personality, capable of offering a personal interpretation of the Eternal City.
